The V500 provides the following benefits:

Easy to use set up wizards allow step-by-step guides for a quick installation. The simple remote control provides access to the power of the Polycom V500 and lets users easily answer an incoming video call or initiate a new one.
An intuitive graphical user interface can be customized for any level of user. The main dialing screen can be configured with present dialing locations, for one-button calling. Users also have the capability to see both near and far side video on screen simultaneously with Polycom Dual Monitor Emulation. The Polycom V500 is standards-based and interoperates with other desktop or group conferencing systems to participate in any size video call.

Support Services provides Partners and Customers with a broad range of
offerings on the V500 to meet all of their support needs. The Premier family
of services is available for the V500 product as well as the Partner Premier
services.
The V500 comes with one year of hardware warranty (30-day return upon receipt at factory), ninety day software warranty, and one year of software updates and upgrades. The Premier family of Polycom service offerings is available for the V500.
