Sony. 1 and 3 year service contract are still available for current
stock and for existing customers.

PCS-1 has been designed to meet the necessary basic features of
videoconferencing over IP networks at up to 2 Mbps. It offers new
features such as enhanced data collaboration capabilities, using the
optional PCS-DSB1, and built-in electronic whiteboard interface. The
PCS-1 provides QoS technology to help ensure and enhance video quality
over unmanaged networks. Superb audio is featured through AAC (Advanced
Audio Coding) at 14 kHz, compliant with the MPEG-4 standard. These and

An optional Mimio Xi™ electronic whiteboard can be connected

The PCS-1P can bring up to 6 international locations into one meeting
instantly, via IP, ISDN or both networks at the same time. By cascading
with a second PCS-1P, the number of locations can be expanded to an
amazing 10 sites. The high bandwidth of 384 Kbps per site in such a
multipoint conference provides excellent audio and video quality.

conventional audio conferencing systems, the PCS-1P ensures that every

The superb picture encoding capabilities of the PCS-1P comply with ITU-T
H.323 standards for network-based videoconferencing at up to 2 Mb/s and 30
frames/s. By connecting the optional
PCS-B768 ISDN Unit, it is possible to hold videoconferences
compliant with ITU-T H.320 standards at up to 768 kb/s via an ISDN line.
