The PowerCam Presenter uses patent-pending ultrasonic technology to
wirelessly track and automatically focus and zoom in and out as a speaker,
instructor or presenter moves around a room, providing complete freedom of
movement and enabling speakers to present in a natural, dynamic way. It can
be used with any video conferencing system or video capture/streaming
solution that has a video input connection. Speakers simply wear the
ultrasonic locator device and press a button to activate the camera tracking
capabilities from up to 50 feet away from the camera. The technology can be
used in a broad range of applications including educational settings in
university, medical, judicial and corporate environments.

The PowerCam Presenter solution consists of a rack-mounted control system
(1U), a new motorized pan/tilt/zoom camera, a wearable wireless ultrasonic
locator, and a remote control. The camera operation is not dependent upon
microphone wires, voice or presets, which provides added flexibility in room
configuration. The system offers many features such as the ability for users
to select framing options via the remote control for center, left, right
close-up and wide angle, and the ability to store and recall four presenter
views/presets. It can also be used as a stand-alone camera for applications
like training presentations, video streaming, motion media, etc. The
solution is available in NTSC and PAL formats.
