Video & Audio Conferencing Bridging Services
Features and Policies:
- All bridging calls are billed on actual
connected time and are rounded to the second.
(Note that when you are renting video end-point
equipment in our Public rooms the rental rates are by the hour. The
usage of the bridging services is by the second).
- If there are any technical issues on
the conference call, for
example a dropped call, we will keep all other sites connected
while regaining connection of the dropped
party. Since it can be very difficult to
establish the exact cause of some connectivity
issues, calls are billed on actual connection
time.
- If there are any
bridging equipment failures, we will
actively work to regain all parties. If a call
cannot be re-established after 15 minutes of
experiencing issues, a new call will be rescheduled where
we will provide a
50% discount for the bridging service for that
call.
- To help reduce and eliminate any
technical issues, we
will always establish test calls with all
parties before any conference calls are placed. Once a site is
registered in our database as a “tested site”
we will then know that that particular site is
established for future conference calls on our Bridges.
- The client responsibility is to have each
site up and ready to go for any scheduled
call. As with any meeting, we will work to
bring together all parties in a timely fashion. Note that we do not
have control of parties being late, equipment not being turned
on, changed IP/ISDN numbers, etc. With each
planned call, we will make sure all parties
are set up and ready to the best of our
abilities.
- In over 4 years of providing conference Bridging Services, our
failure rate has been significantly less than 1%.
- Our overall goal is to make using our
Bridging Services as hassle free as possible to all
users.
