Q2, 2010 - The Polycom HDX® Room Telepresence Line (HDX 6000, 7000, 8000 and 9000) is being upgraded, many of the bundled SKU's are being phased out, and the services items and prices are changing.

Upgrades: All new HDX systems are upgraded and are now capable of 720p60 or 1080p and offer high definition video starting from as low as 512kbps with standard's based H.264 High Profile. Polycom has also added additional options including content, video I/O and line rate within all HDX Room Telepresence base systems.
Bundles Phased Out: Most of the HDX packaged solution bundle SKUs are being phased out. This will make configuration planning and quote preparation much more streamlined for customers.
Service Changes: With the upgrades and streamlining, changing markets and customer requirements, changes are being made to Polycom Premier Service and Polycom Premier Partner Service offerings for video, infrastructure and select voice solutions effective May 1, 2010.
