ALRS ISDN
Line Routers

ISDN circuits in multiple locations)
Net Wizard ALRS
Most videoconferencing systems were designed to be moved from room to room.
Typically when the system is moved, a technician must go to the patch panel to
switch the ISDN or IP connection to the new room. When the system is moved
again, the technician must manually re-route the network connection. This
process is time consuming, costly, and limits the portability of a
videoconferencing unit. The previous alternative was to spend hundreds of
dollars per month per room for dedicated network connections to each desired
videoconferencing room.
“Now an easy solution… The ALRS line of Videoconferencing Network Routing
Switches.”
The ALRS is installed at the patch panel and connected via existing wiring to
virtually any number of conference rooms. The ALRS detects the presence of the
system and automatically routs the network signal to the desired room. The cost
of the ALRS is quickly recovered by the elimination of tech time in re-patching
connections. A videoconferencing system’s utility is increased as it can be used
in virtually any room without technical assistance.
